Illustrator(1)

Illustrator usually used for create logo,cartoon, pattern.
the file type will be "AI",means the file that u create using Illustrator ,the name will be "flower.ai".
after you open Illustrator,click create new,then it will pop up a window like below

1)Name-name of the doc
2)New Doc Profile-Custom(usually we just leave as what it is,which is custom)
3)Number of Art Board-how many page you want to create(usually create 1 by 1)
4)Size-A4,A3,A5...based on what you need
5)Width & height- if u already choose the size on NO4,then you dont need to make any changes on this,except you need a customize size
6)Unit-the unit you use for the Width & height-CM,MM,Inch & etc
7)Orientation-Horizontal or vertical
8)bleed-the margin of the doc
9)Colour Mode-there is 2 type of Colour Mode,Which is :-
a)CMYK-means Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (K is used rather than B in order to avoid confusion between blue and black),normally used for Printing, exp: Poster,catalogue & etc
b)RGB-means Red,Green & Blue,normally used for Screen,Exp:website,Projector Display & etc


10)Raster Effect-Resolution of the doc


if you need to print Box,Name card or other things ,you can try to click on Templates to get a right size.

after confirm the info of doc, then you can click on OK

Useful shortcut key-
a) to Zoom In & Out-Hold Alt key,scroll your mouse up(Zoom in) or down(Zoom Out)
b) to move the art board to left & Right-Hold Ctrl Key,Scroll your mouse up(Right) or down(Left)

After you click OK, then you will see the window like below








it will have
1) Tool Box
2)layer Box- to different sheet the Thing that you draw,Exp:put the Pic on layer 1, the you can put the text on layer 2,so that if anything happen to layer 1 ,it wont effect layer 2.
                                         ^
                                         this symbol is to open a new layer.

3)Colour & Appearance tools
